We feel like we walk among heroes—ordinary people who make extraordinary decisions to save lives. Working with these courageous donors and their families, we know that we’re a part of something special. But we also know that people die every day on the waiting list because the need is so great—and that drives us to try harder. We’re a diverse team working together to save and heal lives.
We take care of our employees so they can take care of others.
At LifeCenter Northwest, we believe that supporting a healthy work/life balance is important to the well-being of our employees. LifeCenter Northwest employees have access to a variety of services and resources to help them take care of all aspects of their health and wellness.
Through our wellness and resiliency program, we offer a Lifestyle Spending Account for certain wellness expenses, wellness challenges as well as occasional guest speakers. Our internal program is designed to provide holistic resources for employee wellness and resiliency, including a custom program setup for critical event support. Additionally, we offer access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for mental health, legal, financial, and childcare or elder care services for you and your family.

LifeCenter Northwest is committed to providing our employees equitable and competitive compensation. In addition to the inherent value found in serving our mission, we provide a contemporary and inclusive benefit plan designed to attract, retain, reward, and meet the needs of our diverse workforce whose commitment furthers our mission. In accordance with Washington State Equal Pay and Opportunities Act the pay range for each position is included in the job postings. Where a candidate’s compensation falls within this range is based on several bona fide factors such as experience, tenure, and other specialized knowledge. LifeCenter Northwest is committed to equitable pay for our employees and takes careful consideration of current employee pay when making external employment offers. Department leaders review incoming employees’ knowledge, previous experience, and education to develop an offer. Once the employee has joined LifeCenter, subsequent pay changes would be primarily based on performance and promotional opportunities.
Insurance
Our insurance benefits are available on the first day of employment and include medical, dental, vision, life, voluntary life, long-term disability, workers’ compensation, supplemental benefit options (Short-Term Disability, Critical Illness, Accident Insurance, and Hospital Indemnity), and travel accident insurance for all full-time employees. Depending on the medical plan that you are eligible for (variable by region), or choose, you may qualify for a LifeCenter-funded Healthcare Spending Account (HSA).
You can also participate in a Flexible Spending Account for both medical and childcare costs. These plans are there when you and your family need them, and provide peace of mind when you’re healthy.
Financial
We offer a 403(b) pre-tax investment opportunity with funds through Vanguard with supported investment guidance provided by Highland Capital. You may contribute immediately, and after one year of employment, LifeCenter will match up to 7% of your contributions.
Time Away
We understand that when you work hard, you need time away for rest and relaxation. Our employees are typically given 11 paid holidays per year and employees will receive one personal holiday to be used for the purpose of participating in and celebrating a day that is meaningful to the employee. In addition, employees accumulate paid time off to be used for sick or vacation days.
Employees with regular schedules enjoy half days every Friday and employees with on-call or variable schedules enjoy a variety of scheduling options and/or additional compensation for their time.
Additional Perks
We are a community of learners; we offer regular training opportunities and believe in supporting the growth and development of our employees. We also have numerous employee recognition programs, collaborative employee affinity groups, and opportunities to support our employees in realizing their highest potential in service of our mission.
Many of our positions have flexible work hours and some are eligible for remote work. Additionally, parking at LifeCenter office locations is complimentary for employees.
