Resolution in Washington State Legislature Declares April as Donate Life Month

On March 4, the Washington State Legislature approved State Resolution 8707 honoring April as Donate Life Month. The resolution, sponsored by Representative Monica Stonier in the House and Senator Ann Rivers in the Senate was read and approved unanimously on both floors.

The family of organ donor Gordon Anderson were able to join LifeCenter Northwest staff in the House and Senate galleries to witness the reading and were recognized by both groups for their loved one’s gracious gift of life. Senator Rivers invited Gordon’s family to her office to meet them and learn more about Gordon prior to the resolution reading.
