Each month, LifeCenter Northwest selects a LifeSaver Award winner. This award honors and recognizes those who go above and beyond to save lives—honoring our shared values to improve donation culture and outcomes.

We are thrilled to present this month’s LifeSaver Award to Paul Lee, an ICU Registered Nurse at St. Peter’s Health in Helena, Mont.

Paul has been involved in several donation cases at St. Peter’s over the years. During a recent donation case, Paul stood out not only to LifeCenter staff but to the donor family as well. Paul asked questions in the moment, collaborated with both LifeCenter and the healthcare team and played a vital role in supporting the family throughout the case.

Following the team heading to OR to recover organs, the family asked LifeCenter to, “tell Paul…..there are no words to express how thankful we are for him being with us.”

Ultimately, the donor in this case went on to donate six organs—both kidneys, their heart, their liver, and both lungs—saving five lives.

Paul’s dedication to connecting with donor families and making the gift of life possible is commendable, and LifeCenter Northwest is proud to present him with this month’s LifeSaver Award!
