Santokh Gill joins LifeCenter Northwest with more than 25 years of healthcare, organ transplantation, and senior leadership experience, most recently serving as Vice President of Patient Care Services at Virginia Mason Medical Center. Gill holds a Master’s in Health Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Washington.

“I’m excited for the opportunity to blend science and business to motivate and inspire the great team at LifeCenter Northwest towards meaningful growth,” said Gill. “I can’t imagine a more worthy cause than saving lives through organ and tissue donation while working alongside our hospital and donation partners.”

Gill will replace current President and CEO of LifeCenter Northwest, Kevin O’Connor, whose leadership over the past 12 years has positioned the agency as one of the top-performing organ procurement organizations in the country.

“Santokh’s extensive healthcare knowledge and proven leadership make him an excellent choice for this role,” said O’Connor. “He is joining a strong team of talented and dedicated professionals who make this lifesaving work possible, and I couldn’t be more confident in or optimistic about LifeCenter Northwest’s future.”

Following O’Connor’s retirement announcement in August 2021, the organization’s CEO Search Committee, which included both Governing and Advisory Board Members, partnered with the executive search firm WittKieffer to conduct a nationwide search for a qualified successor.

Gill’s role as President and CEO of LifeCenter Northwest will begin March 1, 2022.
