As autumn rolls in and the leaves on the trees begin to change, LifeCenter Northwest is preparing for some big changes of our own. At the beginning of the new year LifeCenter will be relocating our headquarter office to the Newport Tower in South Bellevue. Though we are not moving very far from our current location, we are going the extra mile to assure that every aspect of our planning is executed with a focus on our vision and values.
This relocation provides us the chance to develop a work space that brings our employees together in an environment that promotes collaboration, interdepartmental support, and a healthy work/life balance. From building selection to desk placement we’ve put careful consideration on ways to streamline processes and concentrate on keeping the main thing the main thing; saving lives through organ and tissue donation.
“We are taking this move as an opportunity to be very strategic about designing our new space in a way that cultivates community” says Megan Clark, LifeCenter Northwest Vice President, Program Development and External Affairs “Every decision we make from location to layout is done with our values and mission in mind.”
Over the last few months we have been meeting with contractors to discuss the layout and design of the new space. Earlier this month we brought our senior leadership team over for a site tour and an opportunity to check out their future offices (some imagination required!). Floor plans have all been finalized and the official groundbreaking took place last week. Check back for more updates on our relocation process!
